submetacentric
.Among 31 pairs of autosomes, of which 13 pairs were met centric or submetacentric and 18 pairs acrocentric chromosomes, X chromosome was larger submetacentric chromosome and Y was the smallest acrocentric chromosome.
.The result showed that all autosomes which have short arm were acrocentric, the X and Y chromosomes were submetacentric.
.X chromosome was the second largest submetacentric chromosome and Y was the smallest acrocentric chromosome in 1 pair sex chromosome.
.All the 29 homologous pairs ofautosomes and the X chromosome were acrocentric chromosomes. The Ychromosome was submetacentric in Angora goats, and metacentric inNative goats.
.The karyotypes of the genus Abies (excl. A. forrestii) are composed of metacentric and submetacentric. chromosomes and belong to 2A type (see Table 2 ).
.Thirty six homologous pairs of chromosomes were autosomes , in which chromosomes ,pairs of 1 to 20 were acrocentric-subterminal , 21 to 36 metacentric-submetacentric . And X chromosome was metacentric, Y chromosome terminal.
.it was found that the diploid of the breed was 2n=60, the karyotype of bulls was 60, xy, of cows was 60, xx, X Chromosome was a large submetacentric Chromosome, y Chromosome was a small Submetacentric Chromosome, its arm ratio was 1. 722. The Karyotype and C-banded in Red Danish were the same as in Bos taurus.
.Among the 21 pairs autosomes, the shape type of 17 pairs were metacentric (M),810 pairs were submetacentric (SM),1116 pairs were subtelocentric (ST) and 1721 pairs were acrocentric (T). In the 1 pair of sex chromosomes, the chromosome was submetacentric and the Y chromosome was metacentric. The chromsome karyotype of male rabbit was 44,Y.
.It is composed 17 pairs of acrocentric,4 pairs of large submetacentric,4 pairs ofs(?) m(?) centric, one pair of acrocentric sex chromosomes and 4 or 6 B—chromosomes,The result isdifferent from the early one of Makino.
.Studeis were carried out to investigate the karyotyp e of Mya arenaria Linnaeus. Calculation from 105 cells showed that their ch romosome number(2n) was 34 on average and the foundermental number(NF) was 68. Relative lengths and arm ratios measured from 8 cells showed that the chromosom es could be classified into two groups: 12 pairs of metacentric chromosomes, 5 p airs of submetacentric chromosomes.
