superficial cell
.70% to 80% ofcases are superficial transitional cell carcinoma. Despite the availability ofadequate treatments, the likelihood of recurrence is 50-70% within 5 years, and 15% of superficial tumors may progress to invasive diseases. It is avery important to study the mechanism of the occurrence and developmentof bladder cancer.
.Methods Human polymor-phonuclear leucocyte (PMN) or human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) was treated separately with AP, AP plus interleukin 1 (IL-1) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF) to study the effect of AP on PMN adhesion with HUVEC by rose bengal staining, and that on expression of superficial adhesive factor by means of Cell-ELISA and APAAP method.
.METHODS Endoscopic gastric mucosal biopsies were taken from 19 cases of Hp negative chronic superficial gastritis and 37 Hp positive chronic superficial gastritis. The gastric antral epithelial cell proliferation was evaluated by ki-67 immunohistochemical technique and apoptosis cells in the gastric mucosa were quantitated after terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP nick end-labelling and Hp cagA gene was detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
.Result CD44v6 expresses positively at the cell membranes of basal cell and 1/3 layer cells near the base ment membrane of normal oral mucosa, while superficial layer of that presents alm ost negative expression.
.t has been shown that pPCPl(Y.pestis 9.5kb plasmid)is a invasive factor, responsible for bacteria diss-minating from the primary superficial site of infection. In this study,we have transformed the eloned pPClinto Y. pseudotuberculosis by electroporation, and examination of the ability of adhesion and invasion on Hep-2cell model system.
.Results Most of the GABA immunoreactive cell bodies were found in the superficial layers of the dorsal cochlear nucleus (DCN). The number of GABA positive neurons decreased significantly in the DCN of the aged rat cochlear nucleus ( P <0.001).
