1.In North China, freezing-thaw and carbonization of concrete are harmful to water conservancy project.
2.Based on the fast freeze-thaw test, the alkaline resistance test, the water immersion test, the wet thermal exposure test and artificial accelerated aging test, the influence of the corroding environment on the mechanical behavior of fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) laminates and adhesive was studied.
3.To achieve high workability and high durability of high performance concrete(HPC) polycarboxylate based air entraining agent(AEA) with comb-type structures is adopted. The effects of polycarboxylate based AEA on air content,spacing factor,workability,strength,freeze and thaw durability of concrete,and its compatibility to water reducers were investigated.
4.The high performance concrete with excellent structural stability and endurance can effectively restrain the dual-effect of the salt solution and the freeze-thaw cycle, which is now extensively used in the construction of Urumchi Water Supply Project.

6.Experiments indicated that compared with the native starch, the paste made of granular maize starch soluble in cold water prepared by alcoholysis showed higher apparent viscosity, higher stability of freeze thaw and lower retrogradation; while the paste made of granular tapioca and potato starch soluble in cold water showed lower viscosity, stability of freeze thaw and retrogradation.
