1.To establish the animal models similar to the clinical condition is the foundation for researching the pathogenesis and therapeutic strategies about focal cerebral ischemia.In recent years,along with the continual development of the experimental animal science,there has been made rapid progress in this field.Therefore we review the reproduction and assessment of animal models of focal cerebral ischemia.
2.The basic concepts and features of the evidence_based medicine(EBM) were summarized,and the features of clinical studies of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and the relationships between EBM and TCM were systematically analyzed. Four major points were proposed in the application of EBM to the field of TCM:the systematic review of the therapeutic literature of TCM,the standardization and objectification of TCM syndrome,controlled clinical trials in TCM field and the establishment of the clinical outcome assessing system of TCM.
