thiopental
.A trademark used for thiopental sodium.
.Objective To investigate the changes of blood pressure(Bp),heart rate(HR) and endothelin(ET),nitric oxide(NO) during induction of general anesthesia by tracheal intubation with thiopental,propofol and etomidate.
.Then these rats were anaesthetized by 1% thiopental sodium in foodless condition. Sml/per blood were taken from carotid through catheter. The level of serum EGF and GH were measured by radioimmunoassay.
.Conclusion It is concluded that at the concentrations achieved with usual clinical doses, thiopental, promethazine and droperidol can inhibit the VDC whereas ketamine and fentanyl can not.
.Dolantin 1.6 mg/kg and droperidol 0.08 mg/kg were dropped from Murphy′s drip bulb. After the patients slept quietly,intravenous pavalon 0.1 mg/kg,2.5% thiopental sodium 5 mg/kg and succinylcholine were administered and intratracheal intubation was facilitated.
.The results show that at lower plasma concentration of thiopental(≤36. 5mmol/L) the decrease of ICP was more significant than that of CPP, it may be beneficial to pertfusion of the brain.
.Methods:80 women with term pregnancy in ASA Ⅰ~Ⅱwere selectively performed the cesarean section under general anesthesia. Firstly the anesthesia was quickly induced by thiopental sodium and scoline,O2/N2O and halothane were inhalated after intubation,morphine and alloferin were injected intravenously to maintain the effect after delivering neonate. At last the patient was extubated and sent to recovery room as his operation was completed and became conscious.
.Anesthesia was in duced with sodium hydroxybutyrate-fentanyl-thiopental and was maintained with sevoflurane,Swan- Ganz catheter was used to monitor the hemodynamic changes Results RAP and SVRI were increased before sitting position (P<0.05),but HR,cI,SI,LVWI,RVWI and RVSWI were decreased further more (P<0.01 ), SVRI constantly increased (P< 0.01 ), the hemodynamic parameters were kept stable after 60-min sitting position;
