1.The larvae of Buzura tuppressaria (Guenee) were reared respectively with the leaves from previously defoliated and undefoliated Tungtree, Vernicta fordii, and the total tannin contens in the undamaged, damaged and new grown leaves was determined by the Folin-Denis method.
