10.This paper is emphasized on studying the law of consolidation and creep strain when simple load or repeated load is applied under the drained or undrained condition on the basis of indoor test, the law of decreasing of coefficient of earth pressure at rest K_O(t)under drained state and the law of soil shear stress relaxation, as well as the law of increasing of lateral pressure coefficient during relaxation. Application of those laws in practical engineering is also introduced in this paper.
