2.A new bulk Zr-Al-Ni-Cu amorphous alloy has been designed and prepared according to the rule of constant valence electron concentrations (e/a), which satisfies e/a=1.38. The ΔTX and Trg, characterizing the glass formation ability, reach 107 K and 0.58-0.64, respectively.
