7.In the present study,a solution of a vertically variable eddy viscosity boundary layer model under the Ekman momentum approximation is proposed. The effect of inertial term and vertical varying eddy viscosity on the wind structure,horizontal divergence,and vertical vorticity in the boundary layer and vertical motion at the top of boundary layer are discussed in detail.
9.The results of studying show that time dilation effect in horizontal motion of compound pendulum is a result of the change in mechanism of dynamics such as acceleration of gravity, such in vertical motion of compound pendulum is due to both the change in mechanism of dynamics and the change in mechanism of kinematics.
10.There are three different physical factors affecting the nonlinear Ekman pumping (the vertical motion) at the top of baroclinic boundary layer: First, the barotropic geostrophic near the surface; Second, the thermal wind vorticity due to the atmospheric baroclinicity; Third, the nonlinear effect of joint of barotropic geostrophic vorticity and baroclinic thermal wind vorticity.
