1.Comparisons of these data with recovery images of the DS-1260 scanner show that the optimum wavelengthes are 500-550(nm), 700-790(nm), 800-890(nm), 900-1050(nm) for visual interpretation of aerial remote sensing in this area of Dongqing, Zhoushan Island.
2.In the past 150 years, total area reclaimed was in excess of 4 000 hm2. Suggestion by the Government to further reclaim the Victoria Harbour, Green Island and Lantau Island was re-ceived with scepticism and grave concern on the visual and environmental impacts.
