1. Results Maximum ventilatory volume(MVV), residual volume/total lung capacity(RV/TLC), forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV 1), peak expiratory flow(PEF), velocity at 75% vital volume(V 75 ) and diffusion capacity of the lung for carbon monoxide in respiratory failure group was significantly worse than those of control group( P<0.01) .
6.It was found that: (1) vital capacity (VC), expiratory reserve volume (ERV), forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity ratio (FEV1.0%) and maximal mid expiratory flow (MMEF) were significantly decreased ( P <0.01) and functional residual capacity (FRC), residual volume (RV) and RV/TLC% were significantly increased in patients with CCP;
