water constants
.To predict the degradation process of some organics from the effluent, the Streeter-Phelps BOD-DO Model is applied. By making it fitted with hydrological and water quality data observed at Zhuyuan cross-section and another one 14 km downstream in the Channel, reasonable rate constants of oxidation and reaeration have been selected.
.Equilibrium data for the adsorption of phenolic compounds, phenol, p-cresol, p-chlorophenol and p-nitrophenol, from aqueous solutions by Amberlite XAD-4 polymeric adsorbent and a water-compatible phenolic hydroxyl modified polystyrene adsorbent (AM-1) within temperature range of 283-323K had been obtained and were correlated with a Freundlich-type of isotherm equation. The equilibrium constants KF and n were obtained.
.By logarithmic transformation of the analytic solutions expressing one dimension water mass tracer dispersion test with instant injection of tracer, a linear equation, whose independent variable X includes test data t and x , u with unknown value, dependent Y includes the test data c and t, and the linear constants include the longitudinal dispersion coefficient D , was derived.
.The result of rock resistivity experiment on simulated flooding process indicates that the parameters b and n of Archie equation are not constants, and the changing of parameter F is not only because of the difference of the function of pore structure, but also the change of R w in water flooded zone.
.Based on an analysis of dynamic conditions for migration and precipitation of gold grains in water system and their diffusion in soil, this paper has advanced a discriminant formula for surfacce ore potential of gold anomalies from 1:50000 stream sediment survey, recounted methods for estimating the highest gold grade ores within the anomalies, calculated the discriminant indices for Qinba area, and summed up index characteristics of ore-induced gold anomalies in 1:10000 soil survey, estimation formulae for orebody location as well as coefficients and constants of slope angles of various orders and grades.
